Volcanoes in Scandinavia? Unless I am mistaken, Island is not part of Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland). I doubt we would see one in the thick crystalline piece of continental crust making of the nordic shield. While you are at it, Scotland & Eire are much closer to Island.
This message gracefully brought to you by DAD!

True in the strictly geological sense; however one could include Iceland in Scandinavia in recognition of their peoples' shared cultural heritage. I do believe Scandinavia is a term that refers primarily to the nations rather than their territories.

And, uh, "gracefully brought to you"? Sounds like the self-introduction of the girls on Sailor Moon, Dad ;-D
